Our Inclusive Delivery
Our prices include delivery to most parts of the mainland UK, subject to the terms set out below.
- Our pieces are wrapped and well protected for transit
- Our trusted drivers are fully insured and experienced in fine furniture delivery
- We offer a weekday daytime delivery service only
- They take great care of our pieces and we’ve worked with them for many years
- They work alone so will need help unloading
- We ask for flexibility regarding dates and times as they have fixed routes and tight schedule
If you have purchased a Pelikan piece or are considering it, we will enquire with our drivers to see when they are next in your area and agree a delivery date. They will then liaise with you directly nearer that date to give an approximate time. Often their routes aren’t mapped out until the week before but we will do our best to give as much notice as possible. If the date doesn’t suit they may not be in your area again for a few weeks.
Our couriers work day times only and do not deliver at weekends or during evenings. They will require help with unloading at the delivery address. Midcentury frames can be heavy, (it’s because they are so well made!) so we always advise that you have help to unload. Our pieces should never be shunted or lifted by the arms but rather from underneath.
You can find the dimensions of all of our chairs and sofas in their product description and we are always happy to double-check or take additional measurements. Customers are responsible for ensuring that their piece can be delivered into their home and that it will fit through doorways, up stairs and through access points.
There are some remote locations that our drivers don’t cover unfortunately but we would be happy to source drivers that do, understanding that this might incur additional cost.
Alternative Delivery Arrangements
We understand that our inclusive delivery package might not work for everyone – you may need delivery on a specific date, a two person team or delivery at the weekend or an evening. We would be very happy explore other options for you, understanding that this would incur additional cost which you would need to bear.

If you would like to make your own collection arrangements we can store a sold or reserved item for a maximum of six weeks from the date of purchase. We will also deduct from the total cost what we would have paid our driver had you opted for inclusive delivery.
We will wrap the item ready for transit to ensure it leaves us in pristine condition. We would recommend that you use a specialized furniture delivery company who is fully insured against damages.
